Annie Wersching
Annie
Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actor who is known for her part
as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as for her motion
capture and voice work for the character Tess in the video game The Last of Us.
Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated in 1995
from Crossroads College Preparatory School. Star Trek: Enterprise: Wersching
marked her first appearance as an actor. In the following years, she was guest
roles as a star in shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March
through November 2007 she played the recurring role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC
Daytime soap series General Hospital. She has also worked in theaters ,
including Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire as well as the Utah
Shakespearean Festival During her young years, she was a competitor in Irish
dance and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Louis Celtic
Stepdancers. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin
University, graduating in 1999. Following her two-season stint on 24 Wersching
appeared on several shows which included CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles,
Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The
Vampire Diaries and Touch (which features her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In
2014, she was an ongoing series regular on the Amazon Prime crime program
Bosch. Wersching was the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star
Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed
Wersching was the voice actor and mocap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3
exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased Wersching's character via
Twitter, and her identity was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer
on December 7 December 7, 2012. Wersching was to play the character of the Borg
Queen on Star Trek: Picard in season 2.
