Alexandra Rose Raisman (born May 25 April 1994) is a retired American artistic gymnast and two-time Olympian. She was the American women's Olympic gymnastics team captain for both the 2012 and 2016 "Fierce Five" U.S. teams. In the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, she won a gold medal in the team competition as well as her co-teammate Gabby Douglas the sole Americans who have won back-to-back team gold medals. Raisman was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around, and floor exercise. Raisman received silver medals for the all-around individual, as well as the floor exercise. Morgan was born on July 2, 1989 (Alex Morgan age: 30) to Pamela and Michael Morgan. Morgan was raised by her parents in Diamond Bar, Los Angeles. Morgan was a multisport athlete throughout her early years, but began playing soccer at 14. After high school, she joined Cypress Elite's team. They won the Coast Soccer League Under-16 championship and placed third in the under-19 bracket. Morgan continued to improve her soccer skills at Diamond Bar High School. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has selected Morgan to be an All-American Athlete.
